2020 "Academic Community Cooperative University" Promotion Project【Notice of Recruitment】


Kyoto City and the University Consortium Kyoto have been implementing the "University Collaboration University" Promotion Project" since FY28 with the aim of establishing regional collaboration initiatives as an organizational initiative of universities beyond the boundaries of faculties and departments, and enhancing and developing them.

In order to further expand the base of universities engaged in university-wide regional collaboration, we are calling for the following new target initiatives.

Overview of the business

We provide support in two types: "start-up type" and "advanced type".
When applying, please select one of two types.

Startup type

Advanced

Target Organizations

Among the member universities of the Consortium of Universities Kyoto other than those selected for the 2016 University Collaborative University Promotion Project and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's University COC and COC+ Project (excluding participating universities)

Among the member schools of the Consortium of Universities in Kyoto, universities and junior colleges that are promoting regional cooperation throughout the university, such as universities selected for the 2016 Academic Cooperative University Promotion Project

Initiatives Eligible for Support

(1) Development of a university-wide systematic program

(2) Establishment of a system to promote regional cooperation within the university

* Existing initiatives are only eligible for support for those that are enhanced and developed.

(2) Collaborative implementation of regional collaboration initiatives with other universities

* Advanced and new initiatives are eligible for support. Existing initiatives are not eligible for support.


Grants (maximum)

Maximum for 4 years (5.8 million yen)

1st year: 2,000,000 yen

2nd year: 1.6 million yen

3rd year: 1.2 million yen

4th year: 1,000,000 yen

Maximum for 4 years (8.8 million yen)

1st year: 3,000,000 yen

2nd year: 2.4 million yen

3rd year: 1.9 million yen

4th year: 1.5 million yen

About 1~2 cases

* Please note that the budget for the second year (FY2021 (Reiwa 3)) and beyond is not a commitment because it is a matter to be resolved by the Kyoto City Council.

Application documents must be submitted by mail by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020.
* Write in red "Application form for the promotion of the Reiwa 2nd year "University Cooperative University" is available" and send it with plenty of time by a method that can prove delivery (parcel, simple registered mail, courier service, etc.).
