The Kansai Roundtable of Support for Students with Disabilities (KSSK) is a gathering of practitioners to engage in lively discussions, exchange opinions and information, and build networks on various themes related to support for students with disabilities based on the basic principle of a working person's perspective.

From two universities that have newly established support organizations for students with disabilities in the past few years,

He will talk about the flow of internal coordination from the establishment of the organization to the creation of the framework and future issues.

Subcommittee
[A Introductory Edition-(1)(2) Capacity: 20 people (10 people each× 2 groups)]
It will be divided into the following (1) and (2) and will be a subcommittee for beginners according to each theme. Participants will present case studies from their home universities and deepen their understanding of the current situation and issues of support for students with disabilities.
(1) Utilization
of AT (assistive devices) Students will deepen their understanding of the basic knowledge and skills of using AT in support of students with disabilities through lectures, pair work, and case studies. * Those who wish to participate in this subcommittee are recommended to participate in the AT Library Assistive Device Experience Session held in the morning of the same day.
(2) Establishment
of an organization We will discuss in more depth the establishment of a support organization for students with disabilities and the creation of a framework for providing topics based on the situation at each university.

【B Small University Capacity: 10 students】
This is a subcommittee for universities with 3,000 or fewer students. We mainly share information and exchange opinions on the actual situation and issues of support for small universities.

【C Developmental Disabilities/Mental Disabilities Capacity: 30 people】
Lecture format
Regarding support for students with developmental disabilities and mental disabilities (especially secondary disabilities based on developmental disabilities), guest lecturers and facilitators will freely discuss the ingenuity and difficulty of on-site support. Students will deepen their understanding by answering questions from the floor and exchanging opinions.

Exit support for students with disabilities for job hunting, etc. is one of the issues at each university. In this subcommittee, we will consider these issues as the theme of "social transition" and discuss practical examples, issues, and prospects at each university. In addition, on the day of the event, we will invite related parties from employment transition support organizations to a subcommittee meeting based on the status and perspectives of external resources.

Please select your desired ranking in Subcommittee A~D up to your third choice. Please note that we may not be able to meet your request because it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
【Note 1】In order to reflect the topics to be covered by the subcommittee, please enter your university's problems, issues, topics you would like to cover, etc. in the participation application form.
Example: I am worried that the other party will not be convinced that it is difficult to respond to what students with disabilities are asking in terms of budget.
【Note 2】Please indicate in advance the number of students at your university and whether there is a support system (if so, the number of section staff).
【Note 3】If the capacity is exceeded, priority will be given to the first-come, first-served participant. The subcommittee you will participate in will be included in the email sent about one week before the meeting.
