At the FD Forum, poster sessions are held as a place to widely disseminate the educational initiatives of the University Consortium Kyoto member universities and junior colleges.
We are looking for presenters from faculty, staff, and students of the University Consortium Kyoto member schools. We look forward to your application.

Call for Presenters for the 22nd FD Forum Poster Session

Time: Sunday, March 5, 2017, 11:00-15:30 (Core Time: 12:00-13:30)
*Poster exhibitors will be accepted from 10:00. Please do the display work in time for the poster display start at 11:00.
* Please be sure to be in front of your presentation materials during core time.

Location
: Corridors on the 1st and 2nd floors of the Inamori Memorial Hall (Kyoto Prefectural University, Shimogamo Campus), a facility for collaborative education in liberal arts education

Eligible applicants
For presentations by faculty and staff of University Consortium Kyoto member schools who wish to make presentations on initiatives related to university education, students
* non-member schools and general companies in collaboration with member schools, please contact the secretariat.

Presentation Theme
Examples
of initiatives related to distinctive education at your university* Not only the efforts of the member schools alone, but also initiatives related to inter-university collaboration (regardless of whether the partner school is a member school or not), regional collaboration, and industry-government collaboration are OK.
* Initiatives announced in previous years can be re-applied if the information is updated.

About the presentation materials

  • There are no restrictions on the format of the presentation materials, but they should fit into the presentation space described below.
  • Please print out the presentation materials by yourself and bring them with you on the day of the event.
  • Print at a size that can be read even from a distance of 1 m.
  • Presentation materials will be posted by the presenters themselves.
  • A desk may be set up in front of the panel to place FD-related materials from the presenting university. However, materials cannot be delivered in advance. Please bring it with you on the day.

About the presentation space
90cm wide ×180cm highPanel: / Space85cm wide ×120cm (A0 poster can be displayed, cellotape is used, pushpin cannot be used). A desk for placing related materials will be set up in front of the panel.

Publication in FD Forum Proceedings and Reports
The outline of the poster title and the affiliation and name of the presenter will be posted in the proceedings of the FD Forum, and the summary of the presentation (including poster data) and the presentation on the day (photos) will be posted in the report collection.
If you wish, we will give you one copy of the proceedings (booklet) on the day of the presentation and a collection of reports (CD-ROM version) in late June. If you wish, please fill in the designated field on the presentation application form.

Other precautions

  • Please note that presenters will not be paid any honorarium, transportation expenses, or accommodation fees.
  • If the presenter wishes to participate in other projects (symposiums and breakout sessions) of the FD Forum other than the poster session, it is necessary to apply in advance on the web as well as general participants.
    * If you are participating only in the poster session, you do not need to apply online.
  • If there are a large number of applicants, we may postpone hiring due to the number of panels that can be installed. In addition, universities that present multiple panels may be limited to the number of panels per university.
  • Parking is not available, so please come by public transportation.

Judging of Presentation Content
The FD Forum Planning and Review Committee will review the submitted "Poster Session Presentation Application Form" and notify applicants of the proposal by Friday, January 20, 2017.
