Call for participants for the TOEFL iBT® Test Online Skill-up Seminar held on Saturday, October 15

ETS Japan, the TOEFL Test Japan Secretariat, and the University Consortium Kyoto will continue to hold an online seminar by an ETS certified trainer for university students (limited to students belonging to member universities of the Consortium of Universities Kyoto) who are considering taking the TOEFL iBT test.
If you are starting to study TOEFL for studying abroad in the future, planning to take the iBT test, or if you have taken the exam and are aiming to further improve your score, please join us!
This year, it will be held online using Zoom, so you can participate from home.

Participation is free of charge.
The application deadline is 3 p.m. on Friday, October 7, but we will close as soon as the capacity is reached, so please apply as soon as possible. (Closed)

The TOEFL iBT^® test is one of the most successful in the world, designed to measure English proficiency in non-native English speakers.
It comprehensively measures the four skills of reading, listening, speaking, and writing.
TOEFL iBT^® test scores are widely used in more than 11,500 universities, graduate schools, and educational institutions in 160 countries around the world, for study abroad and entrance examinations.
In this seminar, ETS-certified trainers will provide not only the basics of the TOEFL iBT^® test, but also more effective ways to learn to improve your score, using past questions.

Date and time:	Saturday, October 15, 2022 10:00~13:00 (Zoom entry starts at 9:30~) ※We will take a break as appropriate.
Embodiment:	Online (Zoom) * Please prepare an Internet environment that can access the online course and a computer with camera and microphone functions, and access from a convenient location.
Target:	Students enrolled at member universities of the University Consortium Kyoto who fall under the following ・ Those who are starting to study for TOEFL or planning to take the iBT test ・ Those who have taken the exam and aim to further improve their score
Capacity:	50 people (first-come, first-served basis) * Please note that we will close as soon as the capacity is reached. (Closed)
Lecturer	ETS Certified Trainer Chiaki Taoka (Lecturer, Common English Education and Research Center, Kobe College)
Description:	・Introduction of TOEFL iBT test-specific questions ・Preparation of the four sections of the TOEFL iBT test (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing) ・Introduction of effective learning methods and teaching materials *Lectures will be held in Japanese.
