■ Lecture outline / goal
【Lecture summary】
While focusing on keywords, Takeyama→ Kasai→ Takeyama → … and alternately changing faculty members and developing lectures while complementing each other. Through systematic learning and organization, students will have a thorough understanding of the concepts and initiatives of urban development, and deepen their dialogue and concept of "urban development" for themselves.
【Goal】
To understand the concept and initiatives of urban development, and to be able to convey one's own vision for future urban development to others.
【Lecture Method】
Consists of lectures, case studies, workshops, and group work.

■Lecture Outline and Achievement Goals
【Lecture Summary】
In this class, after reviewing the social environment and theory surrounding urban development, students will learn practical examples of urban development centered on Ritto City, Shiga Prefecture. In particular, based on the comprehensive partnership agreement with Ritto City, staff from the section in charge of Ritto City Hall will be invited (5 sets planned) to learn about the actual situation and issues of the town development site (basic local government) and to consider solutions to the issues. Finally, we aim to make concrete policy proposals to Ritto City and work on the practice of policy planning through group work.
【Goals】
To know the actual state of urban development and initiatives, consider town development as your own matter, develop your own concept, and hone the skills necessary for realization.
