Kyoto City has established the “Kyoto City Campus Cultural Partners System” since the 22nd academic year in order to deepen students’ understanding of culture and the arts and enrich their student life by providing them with an environment where they can become familiar with culture and art, and by providing opportunities to build points of contact with the local community through participation in cultural and artistic activities.<\/p>\n
If you are a student of a university or junior college that is a member of the University Consortium Kyoto, you can receive preferential treatment such as discounts at each cultural facility through the admission procedure (free of charge) by individual students, and if you wish, you can receive a wide range of cultural and artistic information about Kyoto City.<\/p>\n

Registration and Enrollment Procedures<\/h2>\n
To use the system, please install and register the free app KYO-DENT for students in Kyoto. (Change from April 2nd year of Reiwa)\n<\/p>\n
\n(1) Search for “KYO-DENT” in iTunes App Store or Google Play, and install it.<\/p>\n
\n(2) Complete the registration of the “Kyoto City Campus Cultural Partners System Membership Card” in the app, and present the “Membership Card (app screen)”<\/span> and “Student ID”<\/span> at the facility.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n * The old system, which was operated until the 2nd year of Reiwa, ended at the end of March of the 3rd year of Reiwa.<\/p>\n * As of April 1, 2nd year of Reiwa, measures are being taken to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infections, such as closing and shortening business hours at each preferential facility. Please check the facility’s website in advance.<\/p>\n
