Collaborative education and research that transcends individual universities has now become a significant part of higher education. <br \/>\n\u3000Furthermore, university consortia, established not only by universities rooted in their local communities but also as regional organizations based on the history, location, and characteristics of the region, represent a deep connection between higher education institutions and local communities, contributing to both university development and regional revitalization. <br \/>\n\u3000Currently, higher education is subject to global standards of quality assurance, and education and research are subject to societal evaluation. In other words, there is a demand to respond to the diverse educational needs of society and create distinctive education and research. <br \/>\n\u3000In this era, university consortia, a crucial system constituting higher education globally, have the potential to realize new forms of learning and the return of knowledge to society that are only possible through collaboration. <br \/>\n\u3000In this context, and with the aim of promoting collaborative education and research in Japan, which is still in its developmental stages, we established the &#8220;National University Consortium Council&#8221; based on the idea of \u200b\u200bproviding a new platform for research exchange where content can be shared by mutually supporting organizations, by transforming the
