It provides a systematic learning experience from the basics. The content is suitable not only for graduate students and young researchers, but also for those who want to review the fundamentals based on their application experience. This is the first of two sessions, and will clearly explain the basic knowledge necessary for applying for KAKENHI (Young Scientists, C, Exploratory Grants, etc.), including the basic structure of the system, the review process, and key evaluation points. For graduate students, the content will also cover basic concepts and writing techniques that are applicable to preparing applications for JSPS Research Fellowships.<\/p>\n<p>The lecturers will be Mr. Yoshinori Sato from the social sciences and Mr. Tetsuro Mimura from the natural sciences, who will approach the application process for Kakenhi (Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research) from different perspectives. There are many commonalities in the basic concepts and key points to consider when preparing an application, and practical hints can be obtained from both lectures.
