Business Overview<\/h2>\n
With the inclusion of the description of “career education” in the Course of Study for High Schools (March 2009) and the development of career education and vocational education aimed at social and vocational independence through primary and secondary education to higher education, the Kyoto High School-University Collaborative Research Council has been promoting the ” ” since 2012 with the aim of stimulating high school students’ motivation to learn and contributing to the promotion of career education in each school. Career Education” project has been launched.<\/p>\n
Future Session for High School and University Collaboration<\/h2>\n
\nWith the aim of promoting the career development of high school and university students, this program allows students to engage in dialogue and exchange on a set theme across generations and schools, including high school students, university students, and working adults.
\nFrom the 2020 academic year, an executive committee made up of high school and university students in Kyoto Prefecture will take the lead in planning and managing the event, and creating the program for the day.\n<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n\nIn recent years, with the declining birthrate and aging population and the increase in single-parent families, the existence of young carers has been attracting attention. They are still students, but their career paths are restricted and they are unable to concentrate on their studies. In addition, they are forced to bear the burden of caregiving, which can interfere with friendships and damage their own health. <\/p>\n
\nIn light of the current situation of young carers, this future session will be an opportunity for high school and university students to learn about the actual situation of young carers and think about what kind of support they need and what we can do about it.
\nLet’s take this opportunity to realize that young carers are not irrelevant to us, and that we may create such a condition ourselves in the future, and let’s think together about what we can do when we become a part of it.
