to junior high and high school students who will become university students in the future.<br \/>Therefore, as a new initiative through collaboration, the University Consortium Kyoto and Kyoto City have established the &#8220;Kyoto Student Public Relations Department&#8221; to disseminate the &#8220;real charm of Kyoto&#8221; to junior and senior high school students nationwide from the perspective of students who study in Kyoto and experience the &#8220;real charm of Kyoto&#8221; is a website that distributes a variety of content planned, interviewed, and written by the Kyoto Student Public Relations Department, and was opened on October 1, 2015.<br \/>\uff1c\uff35\uff32\uff2c\uff1e<a href=\"https:\/\/kotocollege.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/kotocollege.jp\/<\/a><br \/><a style=\"background: none !important;\" href=\"https:\/\/kotocollege.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5624\" src=\"https:\/\/www.consortium.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/78294e0988c7b8a0b13997a92fa17847.png\" alt=\"kotocolle\" height=\"100\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Kotocare&#8217;s Policies<\/h3>\n<p>Based on the idea of the name devised by the Kyoto Student Public Relations Department members at the workshop, the decision was made by the members&#8217; vote.<br \/>It is an abbreviation for &#8220;College of the Ancient Capital&#8221;, and while expressing the uniqueness of Kyoto and the school, we chose the name to be easy for junior high and high school students to remember and be friendly.<br \/>The student public relations department member was supervised by a professional designer and also created the following logo:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5624\" src=\"https:\/\/www.consortium.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/78294e0988c7b8a0b13997a92fa17847.png\" alt=\"kotocolle\" height=\"175\"><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>  The vertical and horizontal lines represent the paths that various students are walking, and by intersecting in various ways, they become a circle = community and are connected.<br \/>It also includes an element called &#8220;Go Eye of the Board,&#8221; The mission of the Kyoto Student Public Relations Department is to widely disseminate the charms of Kyoto from the perspective of students, and it is essential to improve photography skills in order to improve the quality of daily interviews and social media posts. In particular, &#8220;food&#8221; is a major theme in conveying Kyoto&#8217;s culture and tourism resources, and acquiring the skills to accurately and attractively capture its charm will lead to further improving the quality of public relations activities. In particular, I focused on how to express the sensory element of &#8220;deliciousness&#8221; in photography, and I was able to acquire practical knowledge in line with the SNS generation, such as composition, lighting, and the use of color.<\/p>\n<p>The participating students realized the difference between photos they usually take casually and photos that they devised with intention, and it was a good opportunity to realize the fun and difficulty of &#8220;conveying the world they want to show&#8221;. In particular, the fact that students who are involved in public relations activities can take impressive photos even in a limited equipment environment was a very meaningful learning experience for students involved in public relations activities.<\/p>\n<p>We hope to continue holding such training to create more attractive content and strengthen our public relations capabilities in various communication venues such as SNS and article writing by the Kyoto Student Public Relations Department.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Workshop 2<\/h3>\n<h4>Outline of the event<\/h4>\n<p>\nLearn how to put &#8220;love&#8221; into words ~Writing lecture by Kaho Miyake~<br \/>This time, Kaho Miyake, who is active as a literary critic and has appeared in many media, was invited as a lecturer to give a lecture on &#8220;how to write sentences that convey information&#8221; and &#8220;techniques for verbalizing one&#8217;s &#8216;likes'&#8221;. In addition, members who do not own their own cameras were able to practice using the equipment owned by the Kyoto Student Public Relations Department, which was a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding even for members who do not usually have the opportunity to touch cameras.<br \/> We hope to continue holding such training to create more attractive content and strengthen our public relations capabilities in various communication venues such as SNS and article writing by the Kyoto Student Public Relations Department.\n<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Workshop 4<\/h3>\n<h4>Outline of the event<\/h4>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Learn from a Kyoto Shimbun reporter&#8221; ~ Interviews are still difficult! \uff5e<br \/> This time, we invited Teppei Kishimoto, who is active as a reporter for the Kyoto Shimbun, as a lecturer and gave a lecture on interview methods in a roundtable format.<br \/> He gave a practical talk about &#8220;the ability to elicit the other person&#8217;s story&#8221;, which is one of the important skills in the activities of the Kyoto Student Public Relations Department, based on his many years of experience as a reporter.
