The University Consortium Kyoto has continued this philosophy and has been hosting KSSK since 2015.<\/p>\n<p>KSSK consists of providing topics to learn about the current situation and issues of the university, and subcommittees conducted by small groups for each theme. In particular, in the breakout sessions, you can gain insights about supporting students with disabilities by asking the various concerns and questions that the person in charge has, as well as how to provide support, rather than taking the stance of getting some answers. This is now the sixth year since the establishment of the &#8216;Office for Support of Students with Disabilities&#8217; at our university. We will discuss the current state and challenges of student support last year, as well as collaboration systems with external institutions (education, medical, welfare, employment institutions, etc.) and case studies. While reviewing the basics of coordination, we offer an opportunity to &#8216;consult and have round-table discussions&#8217; that go beyond the university and ask about everyday confusion, doubts, and unclear things about reasonable accommodations, while sharing honest opinions about everyday situations. The content varies widely, such as &#8220;not knowing how to use portal sites,&#8221; &#8220;having trouble maintaining a regular daily routine,&#8221; and &#8220;not knowing how to write reports.&#8221; As a person in charge, it is not uncommon to be unsure whether such consideration is reasonable or to be asked for detailed responses.<br \/>In this subcommittee, we candidly exchange opinions on difficulties in addressing these issues and initiatives. * Please complete a pre-registration survey to participate.\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>C Organizational Management as the Foundation of Support<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top:-25px;\" class=\"taRight\">Capacity: 10 people<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"border-top: #d1d1d1 dashed;\">\nTo promote support for students with disabilities, it is important to establish an organizational foundation that respects students&#8217; expressions of intent and self-advocacy, while appropriately providing reasonable accommodation.<br \/>However, in recent years, there has been an increase in cases where support needs cannot be fully grasped by the individuals themselves, so comprehensive management is required, including establishing support systems, promoting understanding among faculty and staff, coordinating inside and outside the university, and developing human resources.<br \/>This subcommittee will exchange information and opinions on overall organizational management supporting support for students with disabilities. Additionally, participants will briefly introduce the support systems, challenges, and initiatives they are working on at each university. Support is required from multiple perspectives, including not only academic considerations but also support for daily life and psychological well-being, responses to leave or return to school, and collaboration both inside and outside the university.<br \/>In this subcommittee, we will consider creating an environment where students with mental or developmental disabilities can continue learning with peace of mind. Regardless of years of experience or affiliation, participants will bring together their daily practices, challenges, and case studies of challenges, and hope to exchange honest opinions with each other.\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>E.
