was held at Ritsumeikan University’s Kinugasa Campus.<\/p>\n
The FD Forum, hosted by the University Consortium Kyoto, has been held since 1995 with the aim of improving the quality of higher education and disseminating information on FD activities from Kyoto, and this year marks the 24th time.
Against the backdrop of major changes in the structure of society as a whole, such as the further decline in the 18-year-old population and the advent of the “100-year lifespan era,” there is a need for diversity in universities, such as accepting diverse students such as working adults and international students, assigning diverse faculty members, and organizing diverse and flexible educational programs.
Therefore, the overall theme of this year’s symposium was “Diversity in Universities,” and two symposiums were held on the first day, “How to face the diversity of people gathered at universities” and “Relearning” and university education for working adults, and on the second day, breakout sessions on 11 diverse themes.
A total of 693 university faculty members and educators from all over Japan gathered to report on the results of research on improving education, share practices, and engage in lively discussions.<\/p>\n<dl style=\"width: 50%;
