In response to the adoption of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s “Project for Enhancement of the Environment for Accepting International Students, such as the Housing Environment and Employment Support” implemented by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in 2015, the Consortium of Universities in Kyoto aims to expand the options for finding employment for international students who have a strong desire for large companies, and to support the internationalization of local companies. KyoTomorrow Academy” was launched. KyoTomorrow Academy, an employment support and exchange community, is mainly engaged in the following three initiatives.<\/p>\n
(1) Establish a model to support international students in finding employment in Kyoto and promote their retention in Kyoto
Visiting companies in Kyoto, various seminars and lectures, and operation of the job-hunting support group “Job Hunting Team”<\/p>\n
(2) In cooperation with Japanese schools, etc., we will work on the development of programs that provide Japanese language support necessary for job hunting.

(3) Develop a wide range of initiatives related to attracting and supporting international students, such as disseminating information overseas from the perspective of students.
