Each class is small, with an average of about 15 students, and students are assigned to classes based on their English proficiency based on the results of the pre-test. (About 1-90% of Japanese students per class.) Students who wish can participate in optional buddy programs that allow interaction with local students, full-scale volunteer activities, and weekend excursions to the suburbs, allowing them to deepen their understanding of Australian culture and society not only through English learning but also through homestays and extracurricular activities.<\/p>\n<p>Melbourne was named the &#8220;World&#8217;s Most Livable City&#8221; for seven consecutive years until 2017.
