Graduated from Kyoto Institute of Technology Graduate School in 1990. After working as a design consultant, he was assistant professor at Kyoto Institute of Technology, associate professor at Ritsumeikan University, professor at Doshisha University Graduate School of Policy Management, specially appointed professor at Kyoto Institute of Technology Creative Collaboration Center, and managed a consulting firm before assuming his current position <br \/>\n            in April 2016. Since planning and implementing a citizen-participation signage plan in a port town in the Seto Inland Sea about 20 years ago, he has participated in citizen-participation and collaborative urban development projects such as the Arashiyama Sakura Toilet, Kamogawa Park Demachi District Workshop, and Kyoto City Future Urban Development 100-person Committee as an expert in citizen-participation workshops. He is working on collaborative urban development in which citizens, companies, and government work together to solve local community problems. He is currently conducting research and practicing with students and local people under the catchphrase &#8220;From T-shirts to urban development.&#8221;<\/span>\n        <\/p>\n<p style=\"clear:both;\">\n        \u3000II. promotion program<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u3000In the second part, a poster session was held to introduce examples of urban development by universities, students, and the local community. 20 local organizations participated and introduced their distinctive initiatives. Participants were divided into tables of four and introduced themselves and their activities. They then gathered at tables with themes proposed by the participants that interested them and discussed them. <br \/>\u3000Although everyone was nervous at first in the unfamiliar situation, they gradually relaxed as the meeting began and exchanged opinions in a relaxed atmosphere. <br \/>\u3000Participants commented, &#8220;It was good to be able to interact with people of various ages and from other universities and to get opinions from new perspectives.&#8221; &#8220;Until now, we have had little contact with other organizations and did not know how they were operating, so it was good to hear the opinions of people of the same age.&#8221; &#8220;I was able to exchange contact information with several people, and I think it was an opportunity to further expand the scope of our activities.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<dl style=\"width: 50%;
