Even after the program ended, lively exchanges of opinions continued between case presenters and participants, which allowed for the participants to deepen their mutual understanding, which was the purpose of the exchange event.
Another notable feature of this year was that there were many university students who hope to become teachers. By having not only high school and university faculty but also university students who aim to become teachers participate, it is expected that the circle of exchange will expand and issues will be shared and solved from a more diverse perspective.
This exchange event will continue to be held regularly in the next fiscal year, aiming to establish the program at high schools and universities in Kyoto Prefecture, and to further deepen understanding and connections between high schools and universities.
The 19th event had 12 participants in person and 13 online, for a total of 25 people, and the 20th event had 20 participants in person and 16 online, for a total of 36 people, making it a meaningful opportunity for interaction for both high school and university students.

Contact Information

The Consortium of Universities Kyoto, Educational Development Division, High School-University Collaboration Division
Tel: 075-353-9153 Fax: 075-353-9101
Campus Plaza Kyoto, Nishinotoin-dori Shiokoji-sagaru, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto 600-8216
*Reception hours: Tuesday to Saturday 9:00-17:00 (excluding New Year’s holidays)

Business overview Kyoto High School and University Faculty Exchange Meeting Implementation Report Contact Information Business overview As the “high school-university connection reform” progresses, the “High School and University Faculty Exchange Program” was launched in 2018 to help resolve issues faced by each school and improve education.
