The aim is to collect independent films produced by students from all over the world and discover the talents and talents who will lead the future of cinema.<br \/>Historically, Kyoto is a &#8220;movie town&#8221; that still inherits the cultural heritage of the early days of Japan cinema, and it is also a &#8220;university town and student town&#8221; where students account for 10% of the population of Kyoto City. This year, there were a total of 511 entries, 134 from Japan and 377 from overseas, and 16 films were selected by the executive committee composed of students.<br \/>At the opening ceremony on the 6th, a greeting was read on behalf of the organizers by Mr. Ohara, President of the University Consortium Kyoto, followed by greetings by Mr. Yasuto Yura, Chairman of the Kyoto International Student Film Festival Planning Committee, and Mr. Masaki Nagata, Chairman of the Executive Committee.
