[Click here for details]<\/a><\/p>\nThe 30th FD and SD Forum was held for two days on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2, 2025, with the main theme of “Supporting Students’ Learning and Happiness with FD\u00d7SD” at Ryukoku University’s Fukakusa Campus.
The FD Forum, sponsored by the University Consortium Kyoto, has been held since 1995 with the aim of improving the quality of higher education and disseminating information on FD activities from Kyoto. In recent years, there has been a need to establish an academic management system due to the revision of university establishment standards and the shift to a student-oriented education. In the midst of these changes, the collaboration between faculty and staff is more important than ever. Against this backdrop, from FY2024, the 30th edition of the forum, we changed the name of the forum to “FD\/SD Forum” and held it in a form that incorporates SD elements more than ever before.
At this forum, we raised the role of a “team” that goes beyond the boundaries of faculty and staff and supports the learning and happiness of students. It was held completely face-to-face, and it was a two-day day to think about the future of the university together beyond the boundaries of FD and SD.
Over the course of the two days, two symposiums, eight breakout sessions and workshops on various themes, poster presentations and information exchange sessions were held.
372 university faculty members and educators from all over the country gathered to share practical reports and results with the participants, and actively exchanged opinions.
In the poster session held on the first day, a total of 15 educational practice cases were presented by member schools of the University Consortium Kyoto, and a lively Q session took place.
Nearly 100 participants, including those involved, gathered at the information exchange meeting, and it was a lively exchange meeting.<\/p>\n
