The 19th Kyoto International Student Film Festival

　Ahead of the 19th Kyoto International Student Film Festival from Saturday, November 26 to Friday, December 2, the Museum of Kyoto will hold a pre-event at The Museum of Kyoto.
The theme of the festival is "disparity". On the day of the screening, "Goron, Batang, Kyu" (directed by Tamaki Yamamoto, Japan), which won the Jury Prize and the Audience Prize at the 18th Film Festival, and "Fidelity" (directed by Ilker Çatak, Germany), which won the Jury Prize and the Audience Award, was screened, followed by Kenichiro Kawamura, a professor at the Department of Film and New Media, Faculty of Film and New Media, Ritsumeikan University, who is familiar with documentary films between director Yamamoto and Japan. From two films depicted with a documentary touch, we will look at the "disparity" expressed by the student director.
Admission is free, so please come to the venue.
