At the FD Forum, poster sessions are held as a place to widely disseminate the educational initiatives of the University Consortium Kyoto member universities and junior colleges.
We are looking for presenters from faculty, staff, and students of the University Consortium Kyoto member schools. We look forward to your application.

Call for Presenters for the 23rd FD Forum Poster Session

*Poster exhibitors will be accepted from 10:00. Please do the display work in time for the poster display start at 11:00.
* Please be sure to be in front of your presentation materials during core time.

Eligible applicants
Faculty and students
of University Consortium Kyoto member schools who wish to make presentations on initiatives related to university education * For presentations by non-member schools and general companies in initiatives that are collaborating with member schools, please contact the secretariat.

Presentation Theme  
: Examples
of Initiatives Related to Distinctive Education at Your University * In addition to the efforts of member schools alone, initiatives related to inter-university collaboration (regardless of member or non-member schools), regional collaboration, and industry-government collaboration initiatives are also OK.
* Initiatives announced in previous years can be re-applied if the information is updated.

About   the presentation materials  

  • There are no restrictions on the format of the presentation materials, but they should fit into the presentation space described below.
  • Print at a size that can be read even from a distance of 1 m.
  • Presentation materials will be posted by yourself (Day 2: Sagitarius Hall).

    * Please print out the presentation materials by the presenter himself / herself and bring it with him / herself on the day. * A desk will be set up in front of the poster, and FD-related materials of the presenting university can be installed. However, materials cannot be delivered in advance. Please bring it with you on the day.

  • This time, a poster display space will be set up on the second floor of Naragakukan (Day 1: Information Exchange Venue, Day 2: Lunch Venue), and posters of those who wish to display will be displayed.

    * Since it is only posted, there is no need for the presenter to be present.
    * Those who wish to display at the Narakukan will send the poster data in advance and display the poster printed in A1 size at the secretariat. (Details of data submission will be announced at the time of notification of acceptance).

About the presentation space
 
Space85cm wide ×120cm (height) (A0 poster can be displayed, cellotape is used, pushpin cannot be used). Set up a desk in front of the poster for placing related materials.

Publication in FD Forum Proceedings and Reports The FD Forum
Abstract will include an overview of the poster title and the presenter's affiliation and name, and the report collection will include a summary of the presentation (including poster data).
If you wish, we will give you one copy of the proceedings (booklet) on the day of the presentation and a collection of reports (CD-ROM version) in late June. If you wish, please fill in the designated field on the presentation application form.

Other precautions   

  • Please note that presenters will not be paid any honorarium, transportation expenses, or accommodation fees.
  • If the presenter wishes to participate in other FD Forum projects (symposiums, breakout sessions, information exchange meetings) other than the poster session, it is necessary to apply in advance on the web as well as general participants.
    * If you are participating only in the poster session, you do not need to apply online.
  • If there are a large number of applicants, we may not be hired due to the number of panels that can be installed. In addition, universities that present multiple panels may be limited to the number of panels per university.
  • Parking is not available, so please come by public transportation.

Judging of Presentation Content
The FD Forum Planning and Review Committee will review the submitted "Poster Session Presentation Application Form" and notify applicants of the possibility of presentation by Friday, January 19, 2018.
