[University teacher English training] Recruitment of participants for “Teaching methods for subjects using English that can be used in remote classes” to be held on Saturday, September 9

Purpose of the event

As the globalization of higher education accelerates, such as the enhancement of support for international students and the promotion of collaborative projects with overseas universities, English proficiency is essential as a basic skill for university teachers and staff.
In addition, international students from many countries and regions have their own cultural backgrounds, and in order to achieve smooth communication, it is essential to understand customs, social conventions, religion, etc. beyond language skills. It has become a thing.
For this reason, the Consortium of Universities Kyoto conducts training to improve English proficiency through case studies that assume various situations, as well as “skill improvement training for university faculty and staff” to learn about cultures other than English-speaking countries.

This time, as part of the 2023 “Skill Up Training for University Teachers and Staff”, the following online course will be held for teachers who are in charge of classes in English at universities, or who may be in charge in the future. I will hold an English course . Please join us.
