Based on the Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities that came into effect in April 2016, the Consortium of Universities Kyoto is working on projects related to support for students with disabilities, which are in high demand from member universities. In light of the fact that there are few opportunities for universities to connect with high schools and special needs schools (hereinafter referred to as "high schools, etc.") regarding support for students with disabilities, we have decided to hold a roundtable discussion for the purpose of exchanging information and interacting with high school faculty members and faculty members involved in supporting students with disabilities at universities.

15：10	Topic Provided "Current Status and Issues of Support for Students with Disabilities at Universities" ≪Lecturer≫ Emiko Tsuchihashi (mainly on support for students with physical disabilities) (Chief Coordinator for Support for Students with Disabilities, Support Office for Students with Disabilities, Student Support Center, Doshisha University) Jun Murata (Mainly on support for students with developmental disabilities) (Kyoto University Associate Professor, Student Support Center) ≪Contents≫ You will provide a topic about the current situation and issues of support for students with disabilities at universities such as the Kyoto area in recent years.

16：00	Group Roundtable Discussion (2 times × 25 minutes) You will be divided into small groups and have a discussion. Teachers of high schools, etc., should prepare questions about issues related to support for students with disabilities in various aspects such as learning, life, and career paths, as well as questions about the university. University faculty and staff will be asked to introduce the status of their efforts to support students with disabilities at each university, answer questions from high school teachers, etc., and exchange information and exchange.
