【Internship】2/18 (Fri) Announcement of “Internship Program Study Group” for companies and organizations

Currently, the University Consortium Kyoto is looking for recipients who can cooperate with the 2022 internship program.

In line with this, in order to further enhance the internship program, we will hold a “Study Group on the Internship Program at the Host Internship Program.”
The purpose of the study group is to share specific practical cases and exchange opinions, and to deepen the connection between the host companies and between the host companies and the university career managers.

If you are a company or organization that is considering accepting students for internships and is interested in our study group, please feel free to contact the secretariat.

For students, it is an opportunity to come into contact with society, companies, and organizations, and to cultivate the values that will be the basis of their career choices after graduation by experiencing what it is like to work through internships.
In fiscal 2022, we will continue to implement the program while taking further measures against infectious diseases.

2021 Internship Program “Long-Term Project Course” Project Presentation

 

In the University Consortium Kyoto Internship Program “Long-Term Project Course,” the students worked as a team for about five months from mid-June on themes and issues presented by the host company.

In the project presentations held on Saturday, November 6 on the last day of the lecture, the culmination of activities from the eight projects was reported, and the experiences of other projects were shared with the entire group.

During the comment time for the review, we received enthusiastic messages from the host and the coordinator in charge, and it was a suitable time for the final lecture.

I hope that Mr./Ms. will make use of the confidence and awareness gained from this valuable project experience for the rest of their university life.

We would like to express our gratitude to all of our host hosts for their various efforts and cooperation for the growth of our students.

【Saturday, November 6】2021 Internship Program “Long-Term Project Course” Project Presentation Online Viewing

 

Project presentations of the internship program “Long-term Project Course” will be held at the following dates and times.
The Long-Term Project Course is a program in which students work as a team for about five months on a theme or issue presented by the host company. At the project presentation on the last day of the lecture, each project will present the results of its activities so far.
On the day of the event, you can watch the presentations of the project students held at Campus Plaza Kyoto online (Zoom).
If you are a university student who is thinking of participating in an internship next year, or if you are a company or organization that is interested in accepting an internship, please enjoy the culmination of the activities of the project students who actually participated in the project.

By disseminating the charm and warmth of the Yamashina area of Kyoto City, we will create connections between people and lead to the revitalization of the city. We will disseminate information on SNS and plan and create free papers.
Day Alive Inc. [Expansion of inbound tourism information media content in Kyoto]
I aim to find attractive places in Kyoto and write articles for “Traveler’s Voice of Kyoto“, a video interview site for foreign tourists.
Kansai Winding Foil Industry Co., Ltd. [“Create” × “Tell” to find the person you want to be!] 】
This is a project in which we think about how to resonate with people’s hearts together with the trainees. We create deliverables that convey the charm of foil.
Otsuki Seal Printing Co., Ltd. Mr./Ms.While understanding the reality of sticker printing, we will work on the development of stickers that will make Mr./Ms. say “Interesting!” with the sensitivity of students.
General Incorporated Association KOKIN [Tourism promotion planning and proposal project in northern Kyoto]
Together with KOKIN, which promotes urban development that makes use of local resources in Maizuru, we will propose business opportunities and plan events in order to realize “Kyoto’s best city with opportunities.” This time, we are focusing on “tourism promotion”.
Limited Liability Partnership Machitoshigoto Research Institute [A support project that supports and proposes the next step of the Mr./Ms. of town activity groups from the perspective of SDGs]
This time, we will be divided into two teams, Otonari Lab Mr./Ms. and Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushiten Mr./Ms.. We will work on SDGs support projects that identify the SDGs, conduct surveys, research, and plan and implement activities.
Miraimoriyama Co., Ltd. 21 [Project aiming for the entrepreneurial town “Moriyama”]
We will work to build a business model that solves local issues at the town development company “Mirai Moriyama 21” funded by Moriyama City. This time, we will interview entrepreneurs in Moriyama and convey the power of the region.

As a post-learning for the Business Course and Public Course, we held a “Practical Experience Exchange Meeting”.
Thank you to everyone who participated.

The real pleasure of the University Consortium Kyoto Internship Program is that students who have completed their practical training at various host sites can gather and share their experiences.
The awareness that all the students Mr./Ms. gained from their experiences over the summer and their growth from reflection were very well conveyed from the screen.
I hope you will make use of this valuable experience in your future university life.
