The 18th Kyoto International Student Film Festival Recruitment of Translator Volunteers

　The Kyoto International Student Film Festival, which will be held for the 18th time this year, is looking for translator volunteers who can translate domestic and international student films (Japanese or English) to be screened at the film festival.
　The translated works will be displayed as subtitles at the 18th Kyoto International Student Film Festival, which will be held at Kyoto Cinema from Saturday, November 21st to Friday, November 27th, 2015. .
As a token of our appreciation, we will be giving away invitation tickets to the film festival and, upon request, a subtitled DVD of the work you have been in charge of.
　In the past, directors such as Yuya Ishii and Yoshihiro Fukagawa have competed against each other at this film festival.

Application Requirements

<Eligibility>
●University students, graduate students, vocational school students, and working adults who like movies and are interested in translation work
●Those who can work from home or contact the film festival executive committee from September to October.
●Those who can participate in one of the briefing sessions held at Campus Plaza Kyoto
●Those who are fluent in foreign languages (TOEIC score of 750 or higher or English proficiency test pre-first grade or higher is desirable)

<Briefing session schedule>
Date: August 8, 2015 ( Saturday, August 12 (Wednesday), August 14 (Friday)
Time: 14:00 to 16:00 on both dates
Place: Campus Plaza Kyoto　5th floor　
Contents: Subtitle translation rules (character limit, etc.)
