Program Name
SPARK *SPARK=Startup Program for Accelerating Regional Knowledge
In this program, students will learn entrepreneurship while experiencing multicultural coexistence outside of Kyoto. Through experiences and exchanges in remote areas, we will use our imagination and creativity as an opportunity to ignite an entrepreneurial mindset.
The English word “Spark” has meanings such as “spark”, “flash”, “electric spark”, “sparkle (such as jewels and metals)”, “inspiration (such as talent)”, and “liveliness”. In addition to improving the entrepreneurship of participating students, collaboration with people and institutions in the areas where the program is implemented will become active, and exchanges will develop… The name of the program also contains such meanings.
Through participation in the program, students will increase their motivation, spirit of challenge, ability to take action, and flexibility to take on real-world issues in the unpredictable VUCA era.
