Kyoto City is a "university town and student city" where 38 universities and junior colleges are concentrated, and 145,000 students, which is about 10% of the population, study. In order to utilize the "accumulation of university education and research results" and "student vitality," which can be said to be the assets of Kyoto, to solve local issues and revitalize local issues, and to create opportunities for students to learn and grow through involvement with the local community, we have implemented the "Gakumachi Collaboration Project" to support the efforts of seminar units and student groups.In order for Kyoto City and the Consortium of Universities Kyoto to further enhance and develop these initiatives in the future, it is necessary to link them to the organizational efforts of the university in addition to the efforts of seminars and student groups.

University COC Project
From the 2013 academic year, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) has collaborated with
local governments to form a university that will be the core of regional revitalization and revitalization.
