At the 29th Kyoto International Student Film Festival, as a pre-event project, we will hold the monthly outdoor screening event “Film Station” at the Kyoto Station building!
This project is a screening event aimed at screening student films at Kyoto Station, a place frequented by many people, to introduce the appeal of film festivals and student creators to a wider audience.
What’s exciting about ‘Film Station’!
〇 Student films delivered with changing themes every month
・Monthly themes such as “Food,” “Future,” and “Manufacturing” will be screened, focusing on past festival-winning films! You can experience the excitement of thinking, ‘I never knew there was such an interesting student movie!’
〇 Talk and connect! How to Enjoy New Movies: Watching movies isn’t the end!
・Talk Session
A unique behind-the-scenes talk segment featuring student executive committee members and sponsoring companies!
・Impression sharing project
Write messages on sticky notes or post real-time feedback via QR code! Everyone’s comments like, “It was fun!” and “I love this place!” spreads out right there.
〇 Outdoor cinema full of openness
・A pleasant night breeze and an open space that are different from movie theaters.

〇 Event Period: June~November 2026 (scheduled once a month)
〇 About Application and Admission Fees
No advance registration or admission fee is required.
Anyone can join casually!
Additionally, the date, theme, and films for each session will be announced on the official Kyoto International Student Film Festival SNS as soon as they are decided.
