Overview of the business

 Based on the Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities enacted in April 2016, the Consortium of Universities Kyoto is working on projects related to support for students with disabilities, which are in high demand from member schools. This time, we will hold a training session with "entrance examination" as the keyword. We look forward to your participation.

2022 Thematic Workshops

Theme "Response to Examinees and Successful Students with Disabilities"
– Thinking about the roles and cooperation of entrance examinations, educational affairs, support departments, etc. –

1. Purpose
 Under the theme of "Dealing with Examinees and Successful Students with Disabilities," the purpose of this training is to understand what kind of thinking and actual response is required when considering various reasonable accommodations in the process of pre-examination, entrance examination, and admission. In addition, this training is mainly intended for faculty members belonging to the entrance examination department of each university and junior college and faculty and staff of educational departments involved in entrance examination work. Of course, members of the department in charge of supporting students with disabilities and other faculty members are also welcome to participate. In light of the enactment of the revised Act on the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities in May 2021, this will be an opportunity to consider appropriate consideration for examinees and successful applicants.

Streamed training sessions via Zoom
4. Eligibility
 It is mainly intended for faculty and staff belonging to departments in charge of university entrance examinations, such as the entrance examination section of each university and junior college, and educational affairs-related departments involved in entrance examinations and dealing with successful applicants, but students with disabilities support staff and other faculty members can also participate. *Only faculty and staff of universities and junior colleges are eligible.
