Business Overview
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the SD Seminar, this event will be held to reflect on the learning culture of “dialogue, reflection, and collaboration” that has been cultivated so far, and to create an opportunity to foster new learning and connections for the next decade. Through a keynote speech, we will consider the environment surrounding universities and the future of university staff, and deepen dialogue among participants through workshops. Open not only to graduates but also to those considering joining the SD Seminar in the future, we aim to create a new network through learning and interaction.
Event Overview
The event will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 13:00 to 18:45 (tentative) at Campus Plaza Kyoto.
The event will include a keynote speech by Mr. Hiromichi Yoshitake, as well as a workshop to encourage dialogue among participants. Following the workshop, a social gathering will be held in the hall (Campus Plaza Kyoto). The
event is open to SD Seminar graduates, university staff, and anyone considering participating in the SD Seminar in the future. It will be
an opportunity to reflect on the past 10 years of learning, reconnect with other participants, and create new learning and exchanges for the next 10 years.

- Except in the case of event cancellation, participation fees will not be refunded for any reason.
- Please note that once the application process is complete, you will not be able to change your application details.
- If payment is not completed by the deadline, we will assume that you do not intend to participate and your application will be invalidated.
- Please be aware that we cannot refund any overpayments due to incorrect information entered.
If your participation fee is insufficient, we will request payment of the difference at a later date. - Students (including graduate students) are requested to present their student ID at the reception desk.
- Students under the age of 20 on the day of the event are not eligible to register for the social gathering due to the provision of alcoholic beverages.
Students participating in the social gathering will be required to show their date of birth as it appears on their student ID. If your date of birth is not listed on your student ID, please also present an official document that verifies your date of birth (e.g., driver’s license, passport, etc.).
Regarding payment of participation fees
You can choose from the following payment methods:

- Payment will be processed using the email link-based system “Paysys”.
- Payment instructions
will be sent from the Paysys email address <info@paysys.jp> within 3 days of your application (excluding Sundays and Mondays). - The University Consortium Kyoto does not retain credit card information.
It is transmitted to the card company through Payment Four Co., Ltd., the payment system operator.
*Bank transfer is available only for group applications (applications made by proxy). Please see below for details.
Please note that bank transfer fees will be charged for payments made via bank transfer.

Step 1: Application
- Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and will close once the capacity is reached. (We do not offer a waiting list.)
- Please note that you cannot change your application details after completing the application process.

After your application is complete, you will receive a “Application Confirmation Email.” If you do not receive the “Application Confirmation Email,” please contact us.

<Regarding group applications (applications by proxy)>
- This application site is designed to allow group applications (applications by proxy) by departments or other designated personnel.
If you are applying on behalf of someone else, please check the box in the middle of the application site that says, “If the billing address is different from the above, please check the box below and enter the information,” and then enter the billing address at the bottom. - The invoice (PDF data) will be sent to the invoice recipient address via an automated email immediately after your application.
- We will issue one invoice (clearly stating the participant’s name) per participant. However, for bank transfers only, it is possible to combine multiple applications and make a single payment for the total amount.

Step 2: Event Day
Participants are requested to present the “SD Seminar 10th Anniversary Project Participant My Page” screen at the reception desk on the day of the event. (A printout is also acceptable.)
*If someone is attending on your behalf, please print out the “Participant My Page” screen of the person who was originally scheduled to attend and bring it with you to the reception desk.
*Materials will be distributed on the day of the event.
Implementation Report
