~~Outline of “Presentation on Kyoto in English” ~~
京都の観光名所や京都・日本の伝統文化についての英語表現を学ぶ研修（半日）を合計6回行います。
◎ Implementation Method: In-person
◎ Hours: 13:30~17:00 (with break)
◎ Training Days and Scheduled Content (6 sessions in total):
1. May 27, 2023 (Sat) :(1) Ice Break, Japan Kyoto Overview ~Learning About Japan and Kyoto in English~
(2) Learn expressions in English to describe traditional Japanese culture
2. June 3, 2023 (Sat): Traditional Culture (1) Experiencing Flower Arrangement in Person
3. June 10, 2023 (Sat): Garden tour (Heian Shrine Shrine Garden)
4. June 17, 2023 (Sat): Traditional Culture (2) Hands-on Experience of the Tea Ceremony
5. June 24, 2023 (Sat): Learn about Kyoto’s landmarks, events, clothing, food, and accommodation in Japan and Kyoto, as well as education,

6. July 8, 2023 (Sat): Individual Presentation
◎ Eligibility: Must meet all of the following conditions
1. You must be a Japanese student at a university or junior college affiliated with the Kyoto University Consortium
(No restrictions on enrolled programs (undergraduate, master’s, doctoral)
2. Ability to participate in all training sessions
3. Your English score must meet one of the following criteria:
IELTS 5.0 / TOEFL iBT 63 / TOEIC 650 / Eiken Pre-1 or higher
4. Interest in international exchange and cross-cultural understanding
◎ Capacity: 15 people
◎ Tuition Fee: 5,000 yen (total for all 6 sessions, including reference materials and actual training fees)
* Please pay in cash (as much as possible without change) on Saturday, May 27 for the first payment.
* Please bear all transportation and other expenses related to the course yourself.
