Notice of the Start of Applications for the 2026 Faculty Skill Up Training

Business Overview

As the globalization of higher education accelerates, such as enhancing support for international students and promoting collaborative projects with overseas universities, the English proficiency of university faculty and staff has become an essential foundational skill.
Moreover, many international students from different countries and regions have their own cultural backgrounds, and to ensure smooth communication, understanding not only language skills but also customs, social norms, religions, and other factors is essential.
Therefore, at the Kyoto University Consortium, we conduct training to improve English proficiency and learn about cultures other than English-speaking countries, aiming to enhance practical skills and increase motivation for skill enhancement by conducting case studies for various scenarios.
