[For faculty and staff] The 3rd International Student Study Kyoto Network member group training and exchange meeting will be held in 2023

“Easy Japanese” seminar that is easy to understand for Japanese people and that is easy to understand for foreigners

Date and time: December 15, 2023 (Friday) 14:00-16:10 (Reception 13:30-) 

Venue: Campus Plaza Kyoto (5th floor: Seminar rooms 2-4)

Contents: “Easy Japanese required for foreigners studying and working in Kyoto in emergencies such as disasters”
~Protects students and employees and helps in daily community life~

“Easy Japanese” is a language that uses the lessons learned from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of 1995 to convey information smoothly to foreigners.

This is a Japanese expression that can be translated into simple Japanese.

In this training, we will provide an overview of “Easy Japanese” and its basic rules, as well as explain how foreigners can help during disasters and the coronavirus pandemic.

Learn about situations you are likely to find yourself in.

It can be used not only in emergency interactions with international students and foreign employees, but also in daily life.

Learn how to communicate “easy Japanese” through group work and practical activities.

Target audience: Faculty and staff members of International Student Study Kyoto Network member schools and organizations

Fixed number of participants: 40 people *Accepted on a first-come, first-served basis
