【Thank you for coming】Kyoto Student Festival 15th Anniversary Commemorative Project The second pre-event was held on Sunday, August 27 at Kyoto Station Building & Porta!

Thank you for holding the event

Following the previous pre-event, the 15th Kyoto Student Festival 15th Anniversary Commemorative Project The 2nd Pre-Event in Kyoto Station Building & Porta was successfully completed on Sunday, August 27, thanks to everyone's support and cooperation.
On the day of the event, we were able to carry out all the programs of the "Kyoto Student Festival 15th Anniversary Festa in Kyoto Station Building & Porta" with a pleasant breeze blowing as if autumn had arrived along with a large chorus of cicadas that felt the hot summer. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who came to the event and all the people who made various efforts to hold the pre-event.

Event Report

At the 15th Kyoto Student Festival, under the theme of creating "Kyoto Student Culture," students themselves are working every day with the goal of becoming "culture", learning about the culture of Kyoto, and creating a new culture that adds a student's personality to Kyoto, which is called "Kyoto Student Culture". At the culmination of these activities, the main festival of the Kyoto Student Festival (held on October 8), we aim to become a festival that is more rooted in Kyoto and loved by people while demonstrating the passionate energy of the students to the fullest.
This time, the "15th Anniversary Festa in Kyoto Station Building & Porta" was held on Sunday, August 27 at the Kyoto Station Building and the underground shopping mall Porta in front of Kyoto Station.
The opening event began with a chalk art performance by members of the art club of Kyoto High School of Arts, which fascinated the visitors, and the second pre-event started with a greeting from Mr. Daisaku Kadokawa, the mayor of Kyoto City, and an opening declaration from Chairman Yoshima of the Kyoto Student Festival Executive Committee.
At the Porta Plaza Stage, the odori and costumes are very popular every time. Sodefure collection and games and quizzes by local characters, projects that conveyed the wonder and fun of science by Kyoto Kumiyama High School Faculty of Natural Sciences, and performances by students of the Calligraphy Club of Kyoto Tachibana University based on the mounts drawn and made by the children of the visitors at the booth, Kyoto Student Festival Executive Committee and visitors The planning was done so that we could have a wonderful time.
In the plaza in front of the station, students from China and Korea wear yukata and are busy visiting the booths they are looking for, experiencing and making them, such as the sprinkling water project to cool Kyoto Station in summer, the school festival booth where you can feel the culture of students closely, the Kyoto Flame Mikoshi exhibition, contact with local characters, and taking photos. There were many booths lined up, and the students were full of power to compete in the summer heat.
In particular, the Kyoto Student Music Award, a student music contest that was also the highlight of this event, was held at Muromachikoji Plaza. With a passion for music that is not outdone by the midsummer sun, the battle for participation in the Kyoto Student Festival Main Festival was fought, attracting many visitors to the world of student music.
And you can't wait, the stage performance by "Heisei KIZOKU" will appear at Porta Plaza and Muromachikoji Square! A large number of people gathered at each venue, were drawn into the world of dance, created a wonderful space, and the venue was full of applause.
As the summer came to a close, the excitement of the 15th Kyoto Student Festival pre-event ended in full swing.

A music contest that will not lose to midsummer

What is the KYO-SENSE Project?

This is an eco-activity initiative originating from the Kyoto Student Festival that proposes a new lifestyle by reviewing
the environment from familiar life while learning from the traditional culture common to Kyoto,
and has been active since 2008. The word "KYO" in "KYO-SENSE" means to inherit
the tradition of "Kyoto", learn from new technologies of "today", and "cooperate" with industry, academia, the public, and the community.
In addition, "SENSE" means the "sensibility" of young people who studied in Kyoto and live today,
and their main focus is to address environmental problems by sharing their wisdom and sensibility.
The activities of the "KYO-SENSE" project have been highly evaluated and
certified as an eco-event by Kyoto City.

【Description】

The torii gate of Heian Jingu Shrine expresses the uniqueness of Kyoto, and depicts not only young people but also grandmothers and children gathering together and having fun. People dancing Yosakoi, which is also the flower of the festival, also appeared, and the costumes are arranged based on the costumes previously worn by Kyoto Seika University Kyo Flame Sodefure. Overall, I was careful to convey that it is an event that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages. Also, considering that text information will be included later, I reduced the number of writing and motifs. I hope that people who see it will feel energetic and cheerful.

【Thank you for coming】Kyoto Student Festival 15th Anniversary Project Starts! The first pre-event will be held in Ukyo Ward on Sunday, June 4!

Thank you for holding the event

The 15th Kyoto Student Festival 15th Anniversary Commemorative Project The first pre-event in Ukyo was successfully completed on Sunday, June 4, thanks to everyone's support and cooperation.
On the day of the event, we were able to carry out all the programs in the refreshing and refreshing weather that seems to be in June, which is the start of the 15th Kyoto Student Festival.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who came to the event and all the people who made various efforts to hold the pre-event.

Event Report

The 15th Kyoto Student Festival was planned with the aim of providing as many students as possible with opportunities and opportunities to "demonstrate the power of students without regret," which is the activity philosophy of the Kyoto Student Festival. In particular, this year's festival aims to realize a "festival in which people actively participate" by inviting more students from various fields, including art fields such as fashion and art, who had not participated in the festival so far, and we wanted to contribute to the revitalization of the region by disseminating it as an attraction of Kyoto. By expanding the range of genres in this way, we planned the project with the goal of creating a unique student culture for the festival while increasing the number of collaborators, and eventually becoming the "Four Great Festivals in Kyoto" on par with the three major festivals in Kyoto.

At the 15th Kyoto Student Festival, with the theme of creating "Kyoto Student Culture", students themselves become "culture" and learn
about the culture of Kyoto, and create a new culture that adds student-like characteristics, and the culmination of these is the main festival of the Kyoto Student Festival (held on October 8), and people who are more rooted in Kyoto We aim to become a festival loved by.
The first of these events, "15th Anniversary Festa in Ukyo feat. Subway Tozai Line 20th Anniversary Commemoration" will be held on Sunday, June 4 at Kyoto Gakuen University Kyoto Uzumasa Campus.
In addition to the Kyoen Merry-Go-Round, which incorporates various cultures and holds a 360-degree parade that resembles a merry-go-round, there is a fashion show by international students in collaboration with the 150th anniversary of the return of the Great Government, a train simulator experience using a train simulator in collaboration with the 20th anniversary of the opening of the
Tozai Subway Line, and there are many projects that can be enjoyed by both small children and adults.
The University Consortium Kyoto supports the various activities of students on a daily basis, and will support them so that they can maximize their performance at this festival (October 8), which is the culmination of the festival.
The students of the executive committee are also looking forward to your visit, so please come to the venue.

We invited the government, companies, local communities, and universities who are indebted to the Kyoto Student Festival on a daily basis, and held a partner exchange meeting on Wednesday, May 24 to express our gratitude.

At the exchange party, for the visitors, touch the Kyoto flame! We reported on the details of this year's pre-event, the highlights of the October Main Festival (on the day of the Kyoto Student Festival), the announcement of the main visuals, and the collaboration project with the project partners. In addition, through the Kyoto Tea Expo, one of the cultural projects collaborated with the Kyoto Student Festival this year, participants attended workshops on the culture and history of Uji tea and the learning how to brew tea, and since the executive committee members became "Premium Tea Ambassadors," the executive committee members also entertained visitors with tea brewed.

We received words of support and encouragement from the government, companies, local communities, and universities who came to the event, and it seems that the students on the executive committee were even more energized. Thank you very much to everyone who came to the event.

Kyoto Student Festival 15th Anniversary Project Started! The first pre-event will be held in Ukyo Ward on Sunday, June 4!

At the Kyoto Student Festival, Kyoto students who transcend the boundaries of universities work hard every day with the aim of disseminating "Kyoto as a city of students" to society in cooperation with the business community, government, local communities, and universities, leading to the revitalization of the Kyoto area, and creating
new attractions.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Kyoto Student Festival. Under the theme of creating "Kyoto Student Culture," students themselves become "culture" in Kyoto, which is called "Kyoto, the city of students," and learn about Kyoto's
culture and create a new culture that adds students' personality.
By connecting to the main festival of the Kyoto Student Festival (held on October 8), which is the culmination of these efforts, we aim to become a festival that is more rooted in Kyoto and loved by people while demonstrating the individuality of students.
