Changes to lecture outlines and goals

■Class overview
○Conservation and restoration of cultural properties
Cultural properties can be broadly divided into calligraphy, classics, ancient documents, and paintings. Learn the materials and structures along with each historical transition, and outline its conservation and restoration.
○ Various Aspects of Historical Materials and Their Conservation and Restoration
In the modern era, recording media of a different type from paintings and calligraphy have emerged, supporting our lives and culture. However, many of these things are made as industrial products, and when new ones are invented, the old ones disappear. These new types of materials are already becoming cultural properties that should be preserved, and I would like to think about how they should be and how to preserve them.

○Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Properties
Learn about the materials and structures of calligraphy, classics, ancient documents, and paintings, and understand the significance of preserving them and specific repair methods.
○Various aspects of modern and contemporary materials and preservation
To learn about the historical changes and traditions of modern and contemporary materials such as paper materials and photographs, and to understand the challenges and significance of preserving them.

■Class overview
○Conservation and restoration of cultural assets
 Cultural assets are largely divided into paintings, calligraphy, classics, and ancient documents. These cultural assets do not exist as individual works, but exist in traditional forms accompanied by bindings. The history of each material and structure will be traced, and the concepts and techniques of conservation and restoration will be outlined.
○Various aspects of historical materials and preservation and restoration
 Historical sources include a very wide range of cultural properties. In particular, since the modern era, new recording media have emerged that have not existed before, supporting our lives and culture. However, many of these things are made as industrial products, and when new ones are invented, the old ones disappear. These new types of materials are already becoming cultural properties that should be preserved, and I would like to think about how they should be and how to preserve them. We will outline the historical transition and conservation and restoration of modern and contemporary materials such as paper materials and photographs.
