The 20th Consortium of Universities Research Exchange Forum

Overview of the business

In order to contribute to the development of higher education, we exchange information on the efforts of each university consortium and research results.

Outline of the event

Theme

Creating Sustainable Local Communities Woven by University Consortium
~Aiming to Create New Value in Anticipation of the Post-Corona Era~

Purpose
of the tournament
At present, universities and other institutions of higher education play a variety of roles, not only for research, education for young people, and the production of human resources, but also as "knowledge hubs" that create innovation and bearers of regional culture.
On the other hand, in order to respond to a mountain of issues such as a declining birthrate and aging society, global environmental problems, the novel coronavirus infection, and the shift to a digital society, and to create a sustainable society, it is thought that it can only be realized by collaborating not only with higher education institutions alone, but also with various entities such as higher education institutions, governments, and industries, and through exchanges involving the local community.
Therefore, the purpose of this forum is to consider the various forms of collaboration that university consortiums have been involved in in order to create sustainable local communities in the future, and to envision the future form of university consortiums aiming to create new value in anticipation of the post-corona era.
