Overview of the business
The Kyoto International Student Film Festival is the largest international student film festival in the Japan that is run mainly by students. We Japan centered on a competition program that solicits and judges films and video works from students in Japan and around the world, and screens the winning works, as well as various other special and collaborative projects. We aim to be a place for interaction that transcends film genres, nationalities, and ages.
Outline of the event
Concept "Jumping Out Film Festival"
1.Through interaction between domestic and foreign artists through each other's works, we will create a place where artists can learn about differences in the process of creating works, environments, perspectives, etc., and discuss their knowledge of their own works and videos, thereby stimulating future production activities. By discovering and nurturing the talents of writers, we aim to create a film festival that can lay a foundation for international filmmakers.
2.By bringing the artists and the audience closer together, providing projects for a wide range of audiences, and creating a place to convey the appeal of the videos produced by students, we aim to convey to the audience the fun and high quality of the works and deepen their interest in student artists and works.

Implementation Report
Summary
The 17th Kyoto International Student Film Festival was held at Kyoto Cinema on November 22 (Sat) ~ November 28 (Fri), 2014. During the exhibition, 28 films from 13 programs were screened, and a total of about 520 people attended. In each program, in addition to screenings of works by student artists, talk shows were held between the executive committee members and student writers, and secret stories that cannot be understood just by watching the works, such as behind-the-scenes stories related to production, were unfolded, and the fun of the works from the perspective of students, which is a bit different from box office films, was also talked about.
In addition, many Japanese and foreign artists visited Japan, and there was a place to interact with the executive committee, and the Japan largest student film festival created by the executive committee and the artists together ended with great success. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who came to the venue, the student artists who submitted their works to this festival, and all the people who supported us in various ways to hold this festival.
Achievements, etc.
