Use of facilities

Can people other than university staff use Campus Plaza Kyoto?

Yes, it is available to the general public. Reservations are accepted from the 1st of the month three months prior to the month of use (or the following day if the 1st is a Monday). For usage fees, please click here.

I’d like to know about the facilities and layout of the rental rooms.

How many minutes before the event can I enter the room?

Can you hold my luggage for me?

We do not store luggage. Please manage your belongings yourself.

The room is too hot, please lower the temperature (It’s too cold, please raise the temperature).

Air conditioning is in operation from May to October, and heating from December to March. Please understand that the temperature is set to 28 degrees Celsius in summer and 20 degrees Celsius in winter in order to promote the “National Movement” to combat global warming.

Are you open during typhoons?

We are generally open, but please be aware of potential disruptions to transportation, natural disasters, and other unforeseen circumstances, and prioritize your safety when visiting. Please note that we cannot offer refunds for cancellations.

Can I pay by credit card?

Please pay in cash or by bank transfer. For details, please see Step 2 of the reservation procedure and usage flow .

Can I exchange currency?

We do not offer currency exchange services, so please use a nearby convenience store or similar establishment.

Is it possible to eat and drink inside the facility?

Only the “hall” on the second floor is available for parties and other events using catering services. Please refrain from bringing anything other than light snacks to the other rental rooms. *If any damage occurs to the rental room, you may be required to pay compensation.

Is there a study space available?

The Student Plus exchange space on the first floor is available to all university students for self-study, job hunting, and light work such as production and shipping.
The spaces on the west side of the first and second floors are for browsing university information, and we ask that you refrain from using them for extended periods.
Please note that self-study is strictly prohibited in any area other than the Student Plus exchange space on the first floor.

What should I do if I generate trash in a rented room?

・In accordance with Kyoto City standards, our facility has designated trash cans for burnable waste, cans and plastic bottles, as well as for waste plastics and paper waste (mixed paper). If you have a large amount of waste, please take it home with you. For small amounts of waste, please prepare your own transparent or translucent trash bags (up to the equivalent of two 45-liter bags) and check with the reception desk for disposal instructions (please take out your trash by 9 PM).

What should I do if I would like to have my picture taken?

At our facility, you are generally permitted to take photographs in the rented rooms, provided that they do not violate the facility’s general rules and regulations.
However, if your activities involve media coverage, bringing in large equipment, or potentially affecting other visitors, we require you to consult with us in advance and submit a “Photography Notification Form.” For details, please refer to <here> .

Bicycle parking area / Parking lot

Please tell me about using the bicycle parking area.

The bicycle parking area is available for bicycles and motorcycles up to 125cc. Operating hours are from 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM. Please note that bicycles left unattended outside of these hours will be chain-locked. *The bicycle parking area is for facility users only, and even then, parking is only permitted during operating hours.

Is there a parking lot?

There is an underground parking lot with a capacity of 27 cars. [Operating Hours] 8:30 AM – 9:30 PM [Rates] 310 yen per 30 minutes (Please note there is no maximum daily rate.)

Even if you are a guest of our facility, we do not offer reservation or discount services.

We do not offer a laptop rental service. If you plan to project images or perform other similar actions in the rental room, please bring your own laptop.

The photocopier installed in our building does not support data output, so please use a nearby convenience store or other service.
