The Future of University Staff Creating New Value: Breaking away from Routine Work
University management is becoming increasingly difficult amid various environmental changes such as the declining 18-year-old population, a decrease in government subsidies, and the coronavirus pandemic. On the other hand, expectations for the role of universities in a knowledge-based society are increasing and becoming more complex. These changes are not uniform and do not have answers, and it is important for each university to think about and implement solutions. University staff play an important role in this. We will consider what role is required of university staff to support the university in the future, and how to fulfill it.
