This year, about 140 attractive companies and organizations in various industries, including manufacturing, finance, tourism, universities, and government offices, including the Kyoto area, are preparing to accept students in anticipation of their growth.

We will hold a report meeting on the results of the Reiwa 6th year “Gakumachi Collaboration Project”! !!

Kyoto City and the University Consortium Kyoto will hold a report meeting on the results of the “Gakumachi Collaboration Project (University Regional Collaboration Creation and Support Project)” in the Reiwa 6 to support efforts for regional revitalization implemented in collaboration between universities, students, and the local community.

At the debriefing session, the 12 organizations selected this year will look back on their activities so far and present the results of their efforts.
Why don’t you find new possibilities for collaboration between the university and the local community and hints for regional revitalization from the reports of accredited projects by students, such as regional development through the inheritance of local customs and culture?

Proposal Guidelines]

The International Student Study Kyoto Network (Secretariat: Kyoto International Business Department, University Consortium) aims to widely disseminate the appeal of “Kyoto University City and Student City Kyoto” and services for international students in Kyoto both domestically and internationally, to support the attraction of more international students, and to make it easier for international students studying in Kyoto to obtain information on support services. We operate a portal site and manage social media.

Therefore, we are looking for contractors for this project in FY2025, so please consider participating in the proposal, and if you would like to participate, please prepare a plan proposal and quotation according to the following guidelines and submit it by the deadline.

*This project will be carried out as a preparatory act for the FY2025 project before the FY2025 budget of the International Student Study Kyoto Network is enacted, and the project may be canceled or the content of the project may be changed or reduced if the budget of this project is reduced at the general meeting of the network.

【Japan students × international students】2024 3rd “Kyoto Premium Experience and Exchange Project” ~Premium Kyoto Traditional Culture Experience~ < Registration has ended>

As a result of receiving many applications for this matter, the capacity has been reached and the reception has been closed. (Updated on February 20).

We are considering a similar project for the next fiscal year.We will inform you again when it is decided.We look forward to your participation.

This year, the International Student Study Kyoto Network (Secretariat: Kyoto International Business Department, University Consortium) is implementing the “Kyoto Premium Experience and Exchange Project” using a contribution from Kyoto City.

This event will allow Japan students enrolled in universities, vocational schools, Japanese language schools, etc. that are members of the University Consortium Kyoto or the International Student Study Kyoto Network to experience the diverse and profound charm of Kyoto so that they can deepen their exchanges with each other through “experiences unique to Kyoto”.

We would like to create opportunities for Japan and international students studying in Kyoto to like Kyoto even more, want to live and work in Kyoto for a long time, and strengthen connections between students that transcend the boundaries of nationality and school.

The third event was held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City, and was held to visit the Fukuda Museum of Art, experience a rickshaw, and experience making Japanese sweets. We are looking for Japan students and international students who can participate, so please do not miss this opportunity and join us.

University Consortium Kyoto 2023 Project Implementation Report Meeting

Since its establishment in 1994, the University Consortium Kyoto has developed diverse, advanced, and challenging projects in close collaboration with member universities and junior colleges, local communities, industry, the business community, and local governments as the first university consortium organization in Japan and a platform for university and regional collaboration. Currently, we are diligently promoting our business based on the Fifth Stage Plan, which is a five-year medium-term plan from FY2019 to FY2023.
We will hold the following “Project Implementation Report Meeting” to report on the main projects implemented in FY2023 by each business division. We will also provide an overview of the Sixth Stage Plan, which will begin in fiscal 2024.
It will be held at the end of the fiscal year, and we look forward to your participation.
