For international students who are thinking of finding a job in Japan, this is an introduction to a program that allows you to experience working at a company!
Participate in a 2~10-day practical training during the summer vacation to deepen your understanding of “working in Japan society”!

 

● Eliminate anxiety with thorough support!
Participate in practical training at a company in Japan… I think there are many people who feel anxious when it comes to this.
We will carefully support international students in choosing a company to participate in the training and training before the training so that they can participate in the training with peace of mind.

● The company to be trained is decided after listening to the employees!
At the “exchange meeting with companies and organizations” before the training, you can hear about the work and the contents of the training from the company.
This is your chance to meet companies from a variety of industries.

● It will lead to smooth job hunting!
In Japan, it is very common to participate in internships before job hunting.
It is important to know the industry, company, and your interests and values from an early age, so even those in the lower grades are encouraged to apply.

International students who:
・Those who are enrolled in a member school of the International Student Study Kyoto Network.
* Includes those enrolled in vocational schools and those enrolled in Japanese schools who have graduated or completed higher education institutions in their home countries.
・Those who can participate in training and practical training at companies and organizations without problems in Japanese.
* Selection will be made based on document screening and interviews in Japanese.
・ (In the case of a paid internship) Those who have obtained permission to engage in activities other than those permitted under the status of residence.

Practical training information of companies and organizations registered for the 2025 Industry-Academia Collaborative Education Program (about 140) has been released!

This year, about 140 attractive companies and organizations in various industries, including manufacturing, finance, tourism, universities, and government offices, including the Kyoto area, are preparing to accept students in anticipation of their growth.

Kyoto City and the University Consortium Kyoto will hold a report meeting on the results of the “Gakumachi Collaboration Project (University Regional Collaboration Creation and Support Project)” in the Reiwa 6 to support efforts for regional revitalization implemented in collaboration between universities, students, and the local community.

At the debriefing session, the 12 organizations selected this year will look back on their activities so far and present the results of their efforts.

Purpose of use

１． The purpose of “Kyomachiya” is to disseminate events of the University Consortium Kyoto (hereinafter referred to as the “Foundation”) and universities and other higher education institutions, mainly member schools of the Foundation, and to serve as an information hub for users to gather information on higher education.

Operational Management

１． The operation and management of “Kyomachiya” will be carried out by the Foundation.

How to use and what is available to the public

1. The user enters the information from the event submission form of “Kyomachiya”, and after examination by the Foundation, if there are no problems, it will be published within one week in principle.
In addition, due to the Foundation’s business system, there may be delays in the disclosure of personal information.

2. The Foundation will publish only the content posted on “Kyomachiya” that meets the following conditions.

４． If the content of the event is found to be inappropriate after the event has been published on “Kyomachiya”, the Foundation may cancel the publication without prior notice to the poster and the event organizer.

５． Inquiries and complaints regarding the content published on “Kyomachiya” will be handled by the organizer of each event.

【Operation of the Kyoto Study Abroad Portal Site and Social Media Management

Proposal Guidelines]

The International Student Study Kyoto Network (Secretariat: Kyoto International Business Department, University Consortium) aims to widely disseminate the appeal of “Kyoto University City and Student City Kyoto” and services for international students in Kyoto both domestically and internationally, to support the attraction of more international students, and to make it easier for international students studying in Kyoto to obtain information on support services. We operate a portal site and manage social media.

Therefore, we are looking for contractors for this project in FY2025, so please consider participating in the proposal, and if you would like to participate, please prepare a plan proposal and quotation according to the following guidelines and submit it by the deadline.

*This project will be carried out as a preparatory act for the FY2025 project before the FY2025 budget of the International Student Study Kyoto Network is enacted, and the project may be canceled or the content of the project may be changed or reduced if the budget of this project is reduced at the general meeting of the network.
