Event Outline

The Policy Studies University and Graduate School Research Exchange Conference has been held since 2005 as a place for students and graduate students to identify problems and issues facing cities, conduct research to solve them, and disseminate their findings to society. The purpose is not just to present the results of daily research, but to deepen research through exchanges and dissemination to society.

theme A change of mindset! Let’s make use of “Kyoto, the city of learning” and have fun interacting with local residents and students!
Content This year’s student project aims to provide students with an opportunity to realize the importance of interacting with citizens, what they can gain from interacting with them, the power to connect with society, and the need to communicate with society themselves. The three panelists (Kyoto City, Kyoto Children’s Center, and students) will talk about the significance of exchanges, and in the three-way crosstalk, we would like to exchange opinions with the audience on what methods there are to activate exchange activities between students and citizens.

Implementation Report

On the day of the 6th Policy Universities/Graduate School Research Exchange Conference

A total of 80 presentations were made on the day (54 oral presentations, 20 panel presentations, and 6 special exhibitions). In addition, research encouragement awards were given to outstanding presentations at the awards ceremony.
