Theme: Philosophy of the Central Council of Education Report and New Course
of Study Speaker: Mr. Tadahiko Yasuhiko (Distinguished Guest Professor, Kanagawa University / Professor Emeritus, Nagoya University)
While contrasting the philosophy or purpose of the report of the Central Education Council in Heisei 20 with the revision of the course of study for elementary, junior high, and high schools based on it, the basic characteristics of the revised course of study mainly at the high school level will be clarified, and the direction of the government's future measures at the present time will be outlined on issues related to connection and collaboration with universities, and information will be provided for the symposium.

Implementation Report

In the first part, after the lectures, a symposium was held, where reports were given from the standpoints of high schools, universities, and society, and questions and answers were held with comment papers from participants.

This time, as a place for participants to exchange opinions, we newly set up a "Discussion" in Part 1, and they were divided into Group A (Career Development) and Group B (High School-University Connection) to engage in group work.

The second part was divided into four subcommittees, and there were case reports and discussions. After the forum, an information exchange meeting and reception commemorating the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Kyoto High School Collaborative Research Council were held. Approximately 100 speakers and participants of the forum, as well as officers, committee members, and related parties of the Kyoto High School Collaborative Research Council, participated.

We look forward to your participation in the High School-University Collaborative Education Forum next year.
